SIX MORE WEEKS OF WINTER?

Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow and will we have six more weeks of winter?

In January, we learned all about how our animal friends live during the winter months.   The children also began to work on their names; writing and recognizing the letter.

In February, the children will learn all about the Post Office. Be on the lookout for a special delivery.  Remember to send your letters!

For a special project in March, please send in an empty box of your child’s favorite cereal and any unusual recycling matter, such as unique cardboard/Styrofoam shapes, etc.  No glass objects please.

Dear Parents:

The children will be learning all about the Post Office this month.  They will be mailing letters home, so look for them to arrive sometime after the 10th.  I thought it would be nice if you could write them a letter or card and have it mailed to CEC, (siblings can also write letters).   We will then put them in our CEC “pretend “mailbox and have the children check to see if we received any mail.
