Children's Enrichment Center

   January circle time discussions focused on what animals do in the cold weather, which ones migrate or which ones hibernate. They pretended to be bears hibernating and we made many pictures of animals in their winter habitats. Now we are talking about the groundhog and trying to predict the weather: will spring come early or will we have 6 more weeks of winter. (It has been so mild it is hard to talk about the cold winter weather.) Soon, we will begin talking about animals that like the cold weather, how difficult it is to find food and how we can help them.

   It will be fun to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our friends and go to the Post Office to mail our family cards.  Hope everyone is able to join us! At the end of the month, we will learn a little about our history and our presidents.

 

Valentine's Day Party:         February  13^th & 14^th

   We would appreciate it if you would send in one Valentine card for each student. You do not have to put each student’s name on a card, just sign it from your child. The children will celebrate Valentine's Day with        their friends by "mailing" their valentines to each other, playing special games and having sweet treats.
