Children's Enrichment Center

JUNE       

Dear Parents,

There has been so much excitement in our classroom this past month because right before our own eyes, the caterpillars have changed into beautiful butterflies. Your children have also made their own tremendous transformations over the past nine months.

 They have grown physically so much that the pictures from the beginning of the year are difficult to recognize. They have grown emotionally and with that maturity, they are able to handle going off to kindergarten, and will enjoy meeting many new friends.

 Each one has worked hard to develop strong academic skills: counting, writing their letters, recognizing the sounds of the ABC’s. They have expanded their interest in a variety of stories, increased their curiosity for learning and they are looking forward to their next journey.

 It has been a pleasure to have each one in my class. Thank you for all your help and support through out the year.

 Summer Birthdays- We will celebrate all summer birthdays Monday, June 7^th and Tuesday, June 8^th. If you would like to send in a treat for the children to share, please let us know.

Beach Party- We will be having a beach party to celebrate the beginning of summer on Wednesday June 9^th and Thursday June 10^th. We need a little help to make the day more enjoyable: there will be a variety of activities throughout the day related to our beach theme, please apply sunscreen if needed, send your child to school wearing a bathing suit, and each child needs to bring a towel in order to participate in the water games.

If you would like to join us, please feel free to come back early. You are welcome anytime!

Graduation Ceremony- Friday, June 11^th we would like to start promptly at 9:00am. Thank you.
